Q. What is IELTS ?
A. The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is an internationally owned and globally recognized
direct English language assessment of the highest quality and integrity readily available throughout the world.
Q. What is NCLEX ?
A. The NCLEX-RN (National Council Licensure EXamination-Registered Nurse) is a computer-adaptive test (CAT) of entry-level nursing competence. Passing the exam is required of candidates for licensure as a Registered Nurse
(RN) by all US state and territorial Boards of Nursing.
Q. What is TOEFL/TSE ?
A. TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) aims to rest the capability on non-native english speakers to
use the language completently in terms of listening skills and reading comprehension.
TSE (Test of Spoken English) the most widely used assessment of spoken English worldwide, measures the ability
of non-native speakers of English to communicate effectively. The test is used for employment, graduate
assistantships, licensure, and certification purposes.
Q. What is CGFNS ?
A. The Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS International) is an immigration-neutral,
nonprofit organization, internationally recognized as an authority on credentials evaluation pertaining to the education, registration, and licensure of nurses and other healthcare professionals worldwide.
Q. What is FCCPT ?
A. The Foreign Credentialing Commission on Physical Therapy (FCCPT) is a non-profit organization created to
assist the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and U.S. jurisdiction licensing authorities by
evaluating the credentials of foreign educated physical therapists (FEPTs) who wish to immigrate and/or
work in the United States.
Q. What is NPTE ?
A. The National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) is given by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy. The NPTE evaluates entry level skills for certification as a PT or PTA in the US.
In order to become certified as a physical therapist or a physical therapist assistant, individuals need to pass the National Physical Therapy Examination. This exam has been developed by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy to maintain high standards in the practice of physical therapy, and to ensure that professional standards
are consistent from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. The NPTE exam is required for licensure or certification in all fifty states.
